I rebuilt BarryZeve.com as a custom WordPress author platform designed to organize a large body of books, essays, articles, and other writings while also making that material searchable through a custom AI experience.
The centerpiece is “Ask Barry,” an AI-powered question-and-answer system grounded in Barry’s own indexed writings. I built the surrounding WordPress workflows for managing the source library, updating indexed material, controlling access, logging visitor questions, and presenting responses in a way that feels integrated with the rest of the site rather than like a separate chatbot.
Beyond the AI layer, the site includes custom publishing and archive tools, private administrative workflows, responsive reading experiences, and a design system built around Barry’s existing voice and body of work. The result is both a traditional author archive and a more interactive way for visitors to explore decades of writing through WordPress and AI working together.
