210Election
210Election is a custom-built election-night results and data analytics platform featuring automated Texas and Bexar County election data collection, interactive race dashboards, live trend reporting, and a private Decision Desk.
I designed and developed 210Election.com, an independent election-night results platform focused on Texas statewide elections and Bexar County races.
Built on WordPress with a fully custom theme and multiple purpose-built plugins, the platform is designed to automatically retrieve, process, and display election results from publicly available government election data sources. It transforms raw election data into an interactive, easy-to-follow experience for visitors.
Key features include:
- Automated Election Data Collection: Custom ingestion engines for Texas Secretary of State and Bexar County election results, with scheduled polling, data validation, and monitoring.
- Interactive Live Results: Responsive race cards and list views featuring candidate vote totals, percentages, reporting progress, searchable contests, and personalized starred races.
- Live Data Analytics: Reporting dashboards highlighting changes in candidate vote totals, partisan vote aggregates, voting-method breakdowns, and election trends.
- Private Decision Desk: A custom operator interface for managing race-call statuses, including projected winners, with shareable election-result graphics.
- Historical Reporting & Archives: Election snapshot tracking, downloadable data exports, and archived election results for historical reference.
- Custom User Experience: Mobile-friendly layouts, light and dark appearance options, Texas district-level results, and automatically refreshing result displays.
The project combines custom WordPress development, PHP, JavaScript, automated data processing, and data visualization into a unified platform designed for election-night reporting.
My goal was to create a fast, accessible, and data-rich election experience with an emphasis on transparency, usability, and timely updates.
