A custom WordPress data-publishing environment for turning analyst-provided datasets into clear public-facing charts, tables, and analysis pages.
I built Election Data Lab as a custom WordPress data-publishing application designed specifically for election analysis. Instead of relying on the standard WordPress editing experience, the site gives analysts a focused workspace for turning raw datasets into polished public-facing analysis.
The custom workflow includes analyst-specific roles and permissions, streamlined data entry, AI-assisted transformation of uploaded data into charts, tables, and written analysis, and a publishing system designed to keep the process approachable for non-developers.
On the front end, I built the presentation around clarity and readability so complex election data can be explored without overwhelming the visitor. The project demonstrates how WordPress can be extended beyond traditional content management into a purpose-built analytical publishing platform.
